Fun with magnets!

Some of you might be wondering why, I haven't been updating (yes, I do realize there is no one out there to wonder and you probably don't care, but I'm going to tell you anyways). Well, the reason is, I decided to do a little experiments with magnets :

"Jazmine! There is a loud noise in the dryer! I'm going to have to kill you," She yelled. Why does mom always expect it to be me? Why not any of my other siblings? Oh well.

"Whadda ya want me to do about it?" I screamed after her.

"I don't know!" she replied. Wait, so you just wanted to yell at me? I almost asked her that,  but thought better of it remembering last time.

"Do you want me to get whatever it is out of the dryer?"

"Yes!"

"Why didn't you say that in the first place?" I muttered under my breath. When I look through the dryer, I realize there is a magnet in my pants. Taking it out I decided I'd go around and try to stick it to different things, which I did. As I finished up, I went back to my science project on the computer and held the magnet still in my hand. Bored to death, I held the magnet even closer to the computer while I worked, slightly remembering something my brother had told me about magnets.

"Click, clang, clickity click click!" the computer screeched at me. My heart skipped three beats, as I suddenly remembered everything Nicholas told me about magnets and computers, 'magnets and computers, they are not friends. If you hold a magnet up to a computer, you'll brake it.' Still clutching the magnet I threw it across the room and prayed with all my might that I didn't brake the computer.

"Nicky, Nicky!" I called for my brother knowing that he could do something. He can program video games on a calculator, but that's another story. When I realize he isn't home, I frantically run to the phone and call his number, after looking for it. The answering machine was so devastating to hear, I started to tear up. While still walking around my mom saw me and asked me what I was doing, "Just looking," I replied hoping she wouldn't hear the still clicking computer.

Minutes went by and still there was no return call, I had no other choice. "The computers broken," I inform my mom, pain clearly etched into my voice.

"You know the computers broken?" she asked simply.

"Well, it's been making this sound..."

"I'll go check it out," she says while looking at the computer. "Yeah, its broken alright,"she verified.

"Broken forever?" I know I sounded like a 2 year old, but that's how I felt as well.

"Yes, broken forever," mom confirmed. "Now go work on the other computer, but only for an hour. I'll write a note to your science teacher to explain what happened. Walking off I still felt terrible, and working on science fair stuff sure didn't help. A little later mom came back over. "Cheer up, that computer was old anyways, besides it wasn't you fault," she reassured.

I really started to cry now, "But mom, it was my fault."

"What are you talking about?"

"I put a magnet next to the computer so it broke!"

"Well you didn't do it on purpose, it's okay."

That really surprised me, I had expected her to go berserk and be super frustrated, but she was so calm. I really, really appreciated that. Good thing was, that in fact I hadn't completely broke the computer, just erased the entire hard-drive, which is actually almost as bad. If you were to look at the desktop all you would see is Firefox and the recycling bin. No Microsoft Word! Oh, well it was my fault to begin with so I'll have to cope.

Advice: Magnets+Computers=not friends!

Wow This Sucks

Okay so here's what happened today: Woke up, went to school, was disappointed, crazy afternoon on the bus, and came home. When I tried to update after i wrote this beautiful paragraph (yup, I know you are jealous inside) but then my computer just had to not cooperate so the whole thing was wiped away! Man, sometimes I hate computers . Any who my day has been just average, and that's not how I like it. Well okay there were some pretty unusual parts of the day. Like: I said the announcements, Had a laugh war/poke war with Ella, had POP, and a very interesting hilarious bus ride. In fact I'm going to tell you the funniest story I heard all day. this story didn't actually happen to me, it happened to my friend Cami's friend, but I'm going to say it in her POV. Also I don't know what wrong with her brother, just that he has some sort of disorder:

"Julie!" mom yelled, "Come on we're going to be late for our dinner reservation, and you know how I hate to be late!" Be patient mom, getting this beautiful takes time and I cannot afford to look ugly if James is going to be there. Let me explain; You see, my parents and I are  going out with their friends. My mom's friends just happened to have a son my age named James, who just happened to be uber hot, and extremely dreamy. "Julie!" mom hollered up to me.

"I'm coming mother!" I screamed as I finished up my mascara. I ran down the stairs only to run into my parents giving Tim, 'the talk' again. My parents always went over the rules and what to do and what not do with Tim when he was going to be home alone. Tim is my 21 year old brother. Yeah I know what your thinking, 'Isn't he a little old for that talk?' well you see Tim has problems. Don't get me wrong I love him to death, but he just ain't right in the head. I don't know why, but I felt a little uneasy leaving Tim home alone today. It was a Thursday and those are Tim's worst days (don't ask me why). Mom was in a hurry so I didn't have time to ponder over this more. Soon I was in the car and heading towards the restaurant.
~
It was all going well until Tim called. He had called my mom and dad but, he spoke loudly enough that everyone at the table could hear him. "I caught a twoll, mom i caught a twoll!" he said with excitement.

"What do you mean you caught a troll?" Dad asked worriedly.

"I caught a twoll, I caught a twoll," was all he said before he hung up. Ughhhh why couldn't he be normal? Now i was going to look like a freak in front of James. I looked at James and all he did was smile at me. Okay so maybe things weren't that bad.
~
When we got  home Tim instantly screamed at us, "I caught a Twoll! Follow me and I'll show you my twoll!" My parents exchanged nervous glances, but followed Tim all the same. He led us to his closet, and when he opend it a little person ran out. I legit almost peed myself laughing afterwords. Aparently the little person was going from door to door preaching about his religion when Tim mistook him  for a troll and captured him. Honestly we would have apologized to the poor guy, but he ran away to fast. Man, sometimes I just got to love Tim.

So that's my story and it was mostly true. I didn't know the names of the people and there was no James, but other than that it was  true.  I hoped you enjoyed it, but that's all I had time for for the day.

Ummmm.....Hello?

Hola! Well, hello everyone! There is probably no one out there but, oh well. My name is Jazmine, and I have these two friends Ella and Suzie, and all three of us love to write. Ella got this idea for us to get blogs, so here i am. I really have never had a blog before, so I'm going to really just going to try what Ella and Suzie did, so wish me luck! I'll post more later, but I've got to go to church.
